Youth Networking Alliance

The Youth Networking Alliance was created to align all sectors of the Bristol community to meet the needs of our children. By collaborating, we remain in the know and also more effective in offering the best education and programs for parents, students, and children who need them.

About

Previous YNA programs included:
  • “ACE – Adverse Childhood Experiences” with Becky Haas, Ballad Health
  • “Healthy Kingsport” with Johanna Montgomery, Ballad Health
  • “The Teenage Brain” with Alice McCaffrey, Sullivan County Anti-Drug Coalition
  • “Reading Initiative/Reading on Grade Level” with Twin City Reads
  • Poverty Simulation Information and Training from Holly Lucas with the Missouri Association for Community Action
  • Workforce Development with April Taylor BTES

How it works

The Youth Networking Alliance meets every other month with 20 to 40 attendees representing schools, nonprofits, agencies, health departments, faiths, government, etc. Programming varies with a regular “State of the Schools” update each September.
